Reconciliation & Settlement Supervisor

We are looking for  Senior Reconciliation & Settlement Specialist, that will be responsible for overseeing the reconciliation and settlement processes within a financial institution or organization. will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, identify discrepancies, and facilitate timely resolution. The ideal candidate shall has a strong background in reconciliation and settlement operations, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

• Oversee the reconciliation and settlement processes, including the matching and verification of financial transactions, trade confirmations, and statements.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of reconciliation activities, identifying and resolving discrepancies or exceptions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Operations, Finance, and Risk Management, to investigate and resolve reconciliation issues.
• Monitor and evaluate reconciliation controls and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
• Coordinate with external parties to resolve settlement-related issues, including failed trades, trade breaks, and discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage the settlement of financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to reconciliation and settlement activities.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to reconciliation and settlement activities, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in system enhancements or implementations related to reconciliation and settlement processes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handling the product configuration from settlement & reconciliation prospective in light of schemes standards.
• Supporting the Development of settlement and reconciliation tools and interfaces to automate the process of settlement cycles
• Providing trainings & guiding for the solution settlement and reconciliation processes which include education materials, user guides and demos.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience 4+ years in reconciliation and settlement operations within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation and settlement processes, including the understanding of processing lifecycle, settlement cycles, and payment systems.
• Proficiency in using reconciliation tools, financial systems, and settlement platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in using spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, SQL ,…) and other relevant tools.
